Dilapidated Building Collapses In Hancock (Update)

Responders were at the scene of a building collapse Monday morning, March 25 in Washington County.

Hancock's volunteer fire company said the incident happened at 55 W. Main Street. The first and second floors collapsed.

The state's highway administration reported major delays along Main Street in Hancock near Route 522 as of 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters said the cause was due to the building being old.
